2022 National and World Championship Qualifiers

To Be Invited

To be invited to the 2022 ALD USA National Championship and 2022 XLD World Championship requires being qualified by way of (at least) one of the methods available. For 2022 there is not a USA National Championship level for XLD. XLD players advance from Leagues, Tour Events, and Stage 2 Qualifiers to the 2022 XLD World Championship. ALD USA players advance to the USA ALD World Championship from the ALD Nationals. All USA ALD players must go through the National Championship to be invited to the the ALD Worlds. ALD players from other countries must complete the requirement set forth for their respective country’s Sanction Agreement to be invited to the 2022 ALD World Championship. 

League Qualifying

Those who participate in our USA League program may qualify by leading in ULD points at the end of the season (in their respective divisions) and / or by winning the League Championship event. Both those accomplishments make the player eligible for an automatic invitation to the 2022 ALD USA National Championship for (ALD hitters) and to the 2022 XLD World Championship for XLD hitters. 

ALD USA National Championship Qualifiers

ALD USA National Championship qualifiers (Regional Qualifiers) pay bonus points (toward World Ranking) and offer and automatic invitation to the winner of each division. We’re adding several USA National Championship qualifiers between the date of this post (July 1, 2022) and Mid September, 2022). Please check out Calendar for updates near you. Most League territories will include both a League Championship and National Championship Qualifier.

XLD Stage 1 and 2 Qualifiers

Most of the National Championship qualifier events will also include XLD Stage 2 (Regional) Qualifiers. Some of the earlier events will include Stage 1 qualifiers for those who have not yet been through Stage 1. All players must advance through Stage 1 (local) into Stage 2 (regional) events. Players will not be eligible to enter Stage 2 without first advancing from Stage 1.

XLD Tour

Winning a 2022 XLD Tour event comes with an automatic invite to the 2022 XLD World Championship.

XLD players from outside the USA must complete the requirement set forth for their respective country’s Sanction Agreement to be invited to the 2022 XLD World Championship.
