What drew you to long drive?  How did you find ALD?
What got me into long drive is after not playing golf for a couple of years, a friend asked me to play a round and after hitting the first tee shot it went 300+ and I was like, wow I should get back into golf but to compete in long drive tournaments. So I search online for long drive events around the country and came across ALD and what got me excited is that there was a tournament not too far where I lived so I signed up and compete in the tournament and ended up in 2nd place in my very first tournament and immediately fell in love with the sport.

What motivates you?
What motivates me is that I have the potential of being the longest hitter in the world because I believe I can do it. Which gives the drive to work hard at it every day and I won’t rest until I active my goal.

What part of the competition do you enjoy the most?
I love the environment of being in long drive tournaments, it gives a feeling that your actually playing in a sports arena with thousands of fans screaming your name while your hitting long bombers into that grid. I also long competing with other long drivers because I get to meet so many competitors from all around the world and I hope to compete in long drive for the rest of my life.

What are your goals for the 2020-21 season?
My goal this season is to win both the US Nationals and the world championships this season and able to hit 400+ yards in a tournament. I also want to turn pro at the XLD world championship at Cog Hill. I would like to make competing in long drive a full-time job so I don’t have to work a day in my life.
