Combined Professional and Amateur World Championship
The 2021 Ultimate Long Drive™ (ULD™) season ended with a combined professional and amateur World Championship that included 160 registrations across 25 divisions from 8 participating countries. This World Championship event culminated from 150 events and 1000 ULD member competitors. Competitors registered for the 2021 Worlds from Germany, South Africa, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Columbia, Japan, Mexico, Canada, and the USA. Unfortunately, 20 participating countries were unable to send representatives to the Worlds due to travel restrictions and health concerns surrounding COVID 19. It is our sincere hope we can eliminate “due to COVID” from our vocabularies very soon!
Thank You!
Without competitors, fans, family support, staff, volunteers, and sponsors, we couldn’t do this. We thank each and every one of you for your continued support. It is very satisfying to see each division grow throughout the year with new and returning competitors.
National Championship Level Series’ and Tournaments
Creating National Championship levels in each of the participating countries has been on our roadmap from the beginning. We successfully added the USA Nationals this season along with Japan, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. The Latino American Long Drive Championship serves as a National-level championship tournament for multiple countries in Central and Sough America. As we grow the sport globally, we hope more countries will be able create ULD Sanctioned National level series and tournaments as a path to the ULD World Championship.

2022 Season
The 2022 season begins October 1, 2021. There will be several new territories open up in the USA for 2022 including: Southern Alabama; Ohio, Tri-State (Philly, Delaware, and South Jersey); Minnesota; Wisconsin; and Missouri for starters. We’re also very close to announcing events in Michigan, Colorado, Georgia, and New England. Our Arizona territory was stunted this season “due to COVID”. We will begin immediately working to get events set up there for this season.
We will engage with our current global partners once again for 2022, as well as reaching out to create new relationships. If you want to host ULD sanctioned long drive events in your country, reach out to us HERE.
In effort to allow our sanctioned operators more time for tournaments, we are extending the 2022 season. We are moving the USA National Championship into September 2022, and suggesting our global partners consider the same. This will allow our licensed operators to run events through August and possibly into the early September. The 2020 USA National Championship will return Barefoot Resort and Golf in September 2022. Details to follow.
2022 World Championship
Next year we are headed to Bradenton, Florida for the 2022 Worlds. Premier Sports complex will host the event near the end of October. We’ll make a formal announcement with the dates and schedule soon. Moving the event to a later date in the year requires us to move the location to a suitably warm area. Dates and locations for the 2023 (and beyond) Worlds are under consideration.
Television Coverage
The 2021 ULD™ World Championship Television coverage will be aired in October (date tbd) on WingDingTv. WingDingTV is available on Roku and Apple TV and will be added to (Amazon) Fire TV in the fourth quarter of 2021. Look for the announcement here on our website and social media soon.
