It is up to the TD to schedule events in their territories. Here are some points to help:

  1. Look at venues on google maps or in person to ensure there’s sufficient length to host our events. When in doubt ask the National Tournament Director (NTD) for assistance.
  2. Put as many events on the calendar as possible as early in the season as possible. Posted events = registrations. Get them up early.
  3. When you find a suitable venue and a willing participant, schedule multiple events at that facility if possible.
  4. It is never a good idea to schedule a league event on the same date (or weekend) as one of our Regional Qualifiers. In most cases the Regional will pull hitters from all areas. A Regional on the east coast will probably not draw hitters from a west coast league and vice versa, but it has happened. Always try to avoid scheduling on top of a Regional. Exceptions are up to the NTD
  5. League Championship dates need to be coordinated with the National Tournament Director. It is our goal to host those events throughout all territories on the same date when possible.
  6. League events may be scheduled after the League Championship, but should be cut off at least two weeks prior to the National Championship. Exceptions should be coordinated with the NTD.
