How to Qualify
Qualification is possible via any ULD program sanctioned series or event.
The ULD Program includes: The North American Tour; Leagues; League Championship events; Internationally Sanctioned ULD Events & Series; and the annual ULD World Championship.
Note: Internationally sanctioned events and series qualification procedures are governed by each participating country and their programs.
The following qualification process is for USA competitions.
Win a Major
Winning a ULD major is an automatic qualification. Majors include all North American Tour events and all ULD League Championship events. Winners in each division in all of these events will earn an invitation to the 2025 ULD World Championship. Any ULD member may compete in any major including any (or all) league championship event(s). League membership is not required to compete in a league championship.
Note: Should a visiting non-league member place first in a league championship, that player plus the highest placing league member will both qualify for the world championship.
Win a League Points Race
Winning the season points race for any division in any ULD League is an automatic qualification for the ULD World Championship.
Win the Overall Category Points Race
The player who obtains the most points during the season (across the USA ULD program) in the three points categories in each division will earn an invitation to the 2025 ULD World Championship.
Points categories are: {Open}; {Masters -35, 40, 45}, & {Senior – All ages 50 & Over}.
FYI
Often players qualify via multiple instances. For example, a player may win multiple majors, or may win a major and a points race. In these circumstances, the first instance of qualification is the “official” qualifier. In these cases players finishing second to a pre-qualified player will achieve qualification. If the second place finisher has pre-qualified the invitation will go to third place and son on.
