Long Drive Regional Majors

The 2018/2019 season (September – August) has five (5) Amateur Long Drive Regional Majors on the schedule. Majors play double points and division winners get an automatic invite to the World Championship. Open to all ages and abilities, anyone can compete. Divisions include male and female competitors in: Youth (13 and under); Junior (14-17); Open (any age); Senior (45-59); Super Senior (60-69); & 70+. Veteran / Military and Adaptive Divisions are also available for all Majors and the World Championship.

Eastern Region Major Qualifier – Rumble At Rocky Gap – May 11, 2019 at Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Flintstone Maryland

Central Region Major Qualifier – Capital City Clash – June 15, 2019 at Turkey Creek Golf Center in Jefferson City, Missouri

Western Region Major Qualifier – Shootout At Tukwet Canyon – June 22, 2019 at Morongo Golf Club in Beaumont, California

Midwest Region Major Qualifier – Justice At Jester Park – July 13, 2019 at Jester Park Golf Course in Granger, Iowa

Last Chance Qualifier – LCQ – Barefoot Resort & Golf in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Rules & Format

All ULD™ Rules apply for the Majors. There are two that “only” apply to Majors.

Rule 13.2 – Double Points – Regional Major Qualifiers pay double World Ranking Points (WRP) to assist unassigned players compete for invitation to the World Championship via WRP.

Rule 13.4 Additional Sets – Players who are attempting to qualify at Regional Major Qualifying events and fail to qualify in their first attempt may attempt additional qualifications (time permitting) by completing and (paying for) an additional entry after their initial (or last) attempt and prior to another qualifying attempt. Players may attempt up to qualify as many times as as time permits. The ULD™ official on site will determine if time limits. This option is not available at League / Series Tournaments.

Automatic Invite To The World Championship For Winners

The winners in each division will receive and automatic invite to the ULD™ World Championship. Should the winner decline the invitation for any reason, the transfer spot will be offered to the first alternate (second place finisher). If the second place finisher declines, the position will be offered to the third…etc. The winners will have one week after the event to accept the invitation and pay their entry into the World Championship. All competitors in Major events are eligible for Wild Card spots in the World Championship. Wild Cards will be assigned by August 1, 2019.

Sign Up / Entry Fees

It’s always best to sign up online in advance, but walk up registrations will be available at the events. ULD™ Tour Cards are required to be eligible for registration, and allow competitors to register for any ULD™ sanctioned event in the world. Annual Tour Cards may be purchased online HERE, but will be available at the events. Regional Major Qualifier entry fees are $100 per division entered.
